Frank Van Overmeiren, a passionate advocate for fire and life safety, founded Fire Protection and Code Consultants, LLC in March 1984. He made significant contributions to global safety by actively participating in NFPA technical committees and influencing codes such as NFPA 99, NFPA 72, NFPA 3, and NFPA.
Frank’s expertise in code development and dedication to the profession are greatly valued and will be missed.
As the current owner, I am committed to continuing Frank’s legacy of prioritizing fire protection. I am grateful for Frank’s guidance, which has shaped my journey as an experienced fire and life safety expert now leading Fire Protection & Code Consultants LLC (FP&CC).
With a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering and certification as a Life Safety Specialist, I also contribute as a key member of the NFPA Technical Committee for NFPA 99. My tenure as president of the SFPE – Houston Chapter
